How to Make a Return

BY MAIL

1. GET YOUR INVOICE READY

To start your return, find your order number in one of the locations below:

  • The top right corner of your packing slip
  • The subject line of your shipping confirmation email
  • Your Order History on your saks.com account

2. PREPARE YOUR PACKAGE

  • Pack your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include your invoice (packing slip).
  • Visit your saks.com order history, choose the item(s) you want to return and select Return by QR code to receive a return QR code, no printing required.
  • ou can also download a shipping label from your saks.com order history or use the one included in the shipment package. Affix your shipping label to the package, making sure no other tracking labels are showing.

3. SHIP IT

When your package is ready, you can drop it off at your nearest FedEx location. If you choose to use the return QR code instead of the shipping label, show the return QR code to an FedEx associate when you drop off your package. The associate will print a prepaid shipping label and add it to the package for you.

4. TRACK IT

Click on the "Track Your Return" button in your return confirmation email to track the status of your return. Please allow 10–14 business days for the processing of your return by mail.

Refunds in the form of the original payment can take up to one week to be credited back to your account.

Bring your merchandise to your local Saks Fifth Avenue store with the original receipt or gift receipt. If you would like to exchange your purchase, we'll help you find the right item.

Return Policy

At Saks Fifth Avenue, we want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase when it’s presented with an established proof of purchase and in saleable condition. Simply follow the guidelines below:

  • Returns are eligible for a full refund if returned within 30 days with a receipt. Full-price merchandise, with the exception of furs, watches and jewelry, received after 30 days will be credited based on the current selling price. Returns of furs, watches and jewelry items will not be accepted after 30 days. All other merchandise can be returned up to one year after purchase.
  • To ensure your item is covered by our free return policy, returns must be initiated within 14 days of the ship date. Returns initiated after 14 days will have a $9.95 return charge deducted from your refund.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot exchange, replace or credit gourmet, monogrammed or personalized items.
  • We recognize that returns are important to our customers. To ensure a positive shopping experience for all our customers, if we identify an unreasonable return pattern, we may restrict or refuse future transactions from such customers.
  • For all returns, merchandise must be presented in saleable condition; established proof of purchase is required.
  • Returns are only accepted via mail or in a Saks Fifth Avenue store.
  • Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return.

PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

Saks Fifth Avenue offers price adjustments within seven days of the purchase date. If you see an item on sale after paying the original price, adjustments can be submitted online via the self-service price adjustment form located on our Contact Us page. Please have your order number and zip code ready.
